My clients have been getting some pretty extraordi My clients have been getting some pretty extraordinary results as of late!

One of my clients, Ysabella, struggled with bloating, extremely painful acid reflux, chest pain, indigestion, headaches, metabolic issues, and reactions to spicy and acidic food when she first came to me.

After 12 weeks of working with me, she has now completely overcome all these symptoms (aside from the occasional headache), has a strong digestion, a solid understanding of how to balance her meals and get all her nutrients in, and has a simple yet effective diet and health routine.

Another one of my clients, Alexa, came to me with alternating constipation and diarrhea, indigestion, stomach pain, gas and bloating, food sensitivities, and a low appetite.

After 3 months of working with me, she now has regular healthy bowel movements, can tolerate a lot of the foods she couldn’t before (like eggs and dairy), has no more intestinal pain or bloating, has a strong digestion and appetite, more energy, is more confident and in tune with her body, and can be more flexible with her diet without having symptom flare ups!

A lot of people think in order to heal your gut you have to narrow down the exact problem with extensive testing, cut out lots of foods, follow a rigorous diet, and implement a lot of time consuming new habits.

However that’s not true!

Instead, I’ve found some of the best things you can do are:

• Focus on the digestive system as a whole + work to support every part of it!

• Focus on the body as a whole + understand how all the systems work together!

• Nail down your nutrition + learn how to balance your meals + get all your nutrients in.

• Focus your health routine on a few things that will make the biggest difference rather than a bunch of things that will only make a small difference.

Now if you’re currently struggling with gut issues, I want to let you know that I’m currently looking for 3 people who want to overcome their gut and digestive issues at the root so that they can be symptom free asap!

If this sounds like something you might be interested in comment “ready” below and I’ll send you a dm to share more!

What Plants To Eat + Avoid For Gut Health Are you What Plants To Eat + Avoid For Gut Health

Are you confused about which plants to eat, which to avoid, and how much of certain ones are ok?

If so you’re definitely not alone!

It's common to hear that you shouldn’t eat greens because of oxalates which can give you kidney stones and inhibit nutrient absorption. Shouldn’t eat wheat because of gluten which can cause leaky gut.

Shouldn’t eat grains because of lectins and phytic acid which can cause leaky gut and inhibit nutrient absorption. And some even say you should cut out all grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, and veggies to truly optimize your health!

But should you listen to that advice?

Well yes and no, let me explain. It’s true that excess anti-nutrient (plant defense chemicals like lectins, oxalates, and phytic acid) consumption can lead to leaky gut, harm your gut lining, inhibit nutrient absorption, lead to kidney stones, and cause other health problems.

Therefore it is important to be aware of and minimize your anti-nutrient intake. To what extend depends on your current gut health which I’ll explain later in this post.

However, in general I would advise you find more of a middle ground and take a less extreme approach. There are many things you can do to decrease anti-nutrient consumption without eliminating whole food groups!

Besides your body can tolerate some anti-nutrients without getting any of the health problems listed above.

To decrease your anti-nutrient intake:

1) Prepare your plant foods properly! Soak, sprout, or ferment grains and legumes. Soak or roast nuts and seeds. And cook or ferment your veggies.

2) Don’t go overboard with your grain, legume, nut, and seed intake! My biggest suggestion here is to pick your favorite ones and incorporate those, there’s no need to eat the ones you could care less about.

With this in mind you’ll also have to experiment to see what works for you. Everyone’s a little different with which foods or anti-nutrients they are sensitive to. For example some people are very sensitive to nightshades while others don’t seem to be affected by them.

Why Are Belief Shifts So Crucial For Healing? Wha Why Are Belief Shifts So Crucial For Healing?

What we believe affects how we act and how we act affects our healing progress.

For example if you believe that cutting out gluten and grains and eating an animal based diet with tons of bone broth will help you seal your leaky gut and permanently heal your autoimmune disease,

Then you will stick to those dietary changes and when temptations come up to eat things outside of your diet, they’ll be easier to say no too.

Because you’re strict with your diet, you’ll see results faster. This will reaffirm to yourself that what you’re doing works, you’ll double down and fully heal!

On the other hand if you don’t really believe that the same diet will heal you. Perhaps you think your case is too unique and complicated, you’ve had your gut issues for too long, or nothing you’ve done in the past worked so why would this be any different,

Then you won’t take the same committed action. You may cheat and have some bread or sugar. Or you might not prioritizing making your bone broth regularly enough to get at least 2 cups in every day.

This lackadaisical approach will majorly slow down your progress. What could have been achieved in 2 months, now may take 6 or 8 months to achieve.

Because progress is so slow, you often think it’s not working, leading you to be less strict. Because if it doesn’t work, you mine as well eat the bread and cookies you really want to.

And thus you don’t heal or see very little progress.

This is why it’s so important to analyze your beliefs at the beginning of your healing journey.

If you have some that you see will prevent healing. Journal about them and answer the following questions:

- How did you come to believe this and where did you acquire this belief from?

- Is this absolutely true for everyone? Is there evidence that truly and absolutely states that this belief is 100% true for you and everyone else?

- Has there been any incidents where this didn't apply to you?

- Find some examples of people who prove that your limiting belief is not true.

- Write out a new belief that’s true and in line with your healing goals. Read this daily.

3 ways to get out of your body’s way and let you 3 ways to get out of your body’s way

and let your natural healing processes take you all the way to a fully healed gut and symptom-free pain-free life:

#1 Cut Out Gut Damaging Foods-

Like grains, gluten, legumes, alcohol, sugar, seed oils, artificial sweeteners, and processed foods.

#2 Chill Out-

Stress literally burns though nutrients, your body could have used to heal your gut. It also inhibits digestion which means you can’t digest your food properly and you’ll likely get backed up with a lot of gas and stools!

#3 Stop Taking Meds-

Like PPIs, antacids, laxatives, and hormonal birth control. All of these directly harm your gut and prevent healing. When coming off any meds, you always have to be careful to do so safely, but getting off meds is definitely a key part of healing.
Over the past several months, I’ve been struggling Over the past several months, I’ve been struggling with some of my lifts.

My biggest issues where some knee and shoulder pain.

I got really sick of this pain getting in the way of my training progress so here’s what I did.

I went back to the basics!

And by that I mean getting very strict about lifting with excellent form, rewatching videos on how to do the big 4 lifts (squat, bench, overhead press, and deadlifts), and jotting down detailed notes on lifting form.

Also taking videos of my lifts to check my form and show my boyfriend so he can give me feedback on my form too.

The video above is some squats from a few days ago.

While there's still a few tweaks I can make, my form is way better and I had no knee pain!

I also dropped the weight a bit on some lifts to ensure I’m really lifting what I can while keeping good form.

Now I’ve been weightlifting for almost 9 years, yet I still have to go back to the basics sometimes.

Because the basics are the foundation. And without a solid foundation, you can’t build anything the lasts.

I’ve heard it said before that masters are people who just do the basics really well.

So why am I telling you all this?

Because it’s the exact same for nutrition and healing your gut!

Don’t get lost in the marketing of supplements, 1 week cleanses, and any one thing that promises to be the last thing you’ll ever need to heal your gut.

That stuff doesn’t work and it’s a waste of your attention, energy, and money.

Instead focus on the basics!

Because these are the foundations that will heal you at the root!

✔️ Eating like our ancestors did (nose to tail animal foods and seasonal properly prepared plants)
✔️Cutting out processed junk foods
✔️Cooking for yourself
✔️Getting 8+ hours of quality sleep a night
✔️Ditching stress and cultivating a relaxed calm body and mind
✔️Spending time outside
✔️Exercising
✔️Avoiding environmental toxins
Replacing Animal Foods With Vegan Alternatives Lea Replacing Animal Foods With Vegan Alternatives Leads To Malnourishment and Disease!

Now that animal foods are demonized in mass, it seems the shelves of the grocery store are filling with more and more fake milks, fake eggs, and fake meats.

However the vast majority of these foods replace incredibly healthy nourishing foods with toxic garbage!

When you replace quality whole milk (that’s ideally grass fed, raw, hormone and antibiotic free, non-homogenized) with store bought almond, oat, soy, or some other fake “milk,” how does that change what you’re ingesting?

You no longer get all the incredible bioavailable nutrients from milk (vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, B12; calcium, iodine, cholesterol, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, zinc, iodine, and selenium).

Same with meat and eggs!

Real muscle meat is rich in B vitamins, phosphorus, iron, choline, potassium, zinc, and selenium. And that’s not even getting into organ meats and collagen rich cuts that provide a whole lot more!

Real eggs are rich in vitamins A, B2, B5, B9 (folate), B12, and D; choline, selenium, iron, iodine, phosphorus, and zinc.

On the contrary, these fake animal products do not contain a significant amount of usable nutrients! If the nutrient label has high percentages next to nutrients, it’s because the product has been fortified with synthetic nutrients. These are often made with little care other than to be able to make the nutrient label look good to consumers.

The synthetic nutrients are typically in the wrong form, not very bioavailable, and in the end not really usable by your body!

Additionally, many of these products are fortified with little iron shards to increase the amount of iron in them. However, as you might have guessed, eating tiny iron shards is not good for us. In fact, the mass increase in iron fortification has lead to iron overload in many people.

Pathogens are very attracted to iron therefore this can lead to excess parasites or candida in your body! Overtime the iron also oxidizes and rusts in your body which can lead to age spots, cancer, inflammation, and other health problems.

Sick of ultra restrictive gut healing diets? Do Sick of ultra restrictive gut healing diets?

Do this instead👇

Eat like our ancestors did!

That means…

👉 Centering your diet around whole foods, not processed foods.

👉 Including fermented foods which help support your microbiome health, reduce bloating, and encourage regular healthy bowel movements.

👉 Eating nose to tail (which means including as many parts of the animal as possible) to ensure you are getting all the nutrients necessary to heal your gut lining and to produce digestive enzymes and enough stomach acid to fully digest your food and therefore absorb more nutrients.

👉 Properly preparing nuts, grains, legumes, and seeds to reduce the anti-nutrients and make them more digestible and less damaging to your gut.

Modern digestive issues are a result of modern diets!

Our ancestors didn’t get Crohn’s disease, UC, leaky gut, SIBO, IBS, autoimmune disease, hypothyroidism, and other gut issues because they ate very nourishing gut supportive diets.

One of the most essential parts of healing your gut is nailing down your diet, but that doesn’t mean you need some crazy restrictive elimination type diet to heal.

In fact the vast majority of my clients fully heal their gut issues simply by following an ancestral way of eating!

And that’s exactly how I healed my IBS, chronic constipation, bloating, gas, digestive pain, and low energy.
